The Lord Is My Shepherd.....

Hello and happy Thursday stamping friends!  WOW, it is Thursday already, this week has gone by so fast. We have been super busy with Memorial Day, my youngest daughter's birthday and the first week of summer break already over. Anyhow, I am coming to you with a card that I have made using one of my all time favorite scriptures...Psalm 23. When I saw that this scripture was made into a script stamp I had to have it and here is a simple card I have made using this stamp.

The Lord Is My Shepherd

Recipe:

Paper:   Vintage Cream, Kraft, specialty paper in green, DP ODBD Shabby Rose Paper Collection

Stamps: ODBD Psalm 23 Script, Butterfly & Bugs

Inks: VersaFine Onyx Black

Accessories: ODBD Custom dies Butterfly & Bugs, Fancy Foliage, Moondust Glitter in crystal, WOC roses

I know this card is sort of clean and simple for me, but I did not want to take away from the power and beauty of this scripture. I enhanced it just enough to make it pop off this beautiful Shabby Rose Paper Collection.

Well, this is it for me for today, the girls and I are having a fun day planned at the mall, movies and some lunch. My DD's birthday was yesterday, but she was so happy about her gift that she was outside all day.  Kids, I tell ya!  :D

Have a blessed day!

Hugs,

All Things Are Possible!

Hello and happy Tuesday!  Today I am coming to you with a sweet little card that I've made a little while ago and totally forgot to post. Most of you know that every year in March Our Daily Bread Designs celebrates their Anniversary. Well, this is my absolutely favorite release time of all, as Kelley releases some special sets and they most of the time consist of all scripture and quotes or sentiments sets!  This year it was not any different and I did use the same stamp set back in March for my release post, but I love this set so much that I have been creating a lot of cards with it but most of the time forget to post them as I give them to friends and family, but this card right here I still had in my big box of cards and thought I'd share with you.

All Things Are Possible

Recipe:

Paper: Vintage Cream, Kraft, Ripe Avocado, DP Prima Butterfly

Stamps: ODBD God Verses

Inks: VersaFine Onyx Black

Accessories: ODBD Custom Fancy Foliage, Recipe&Tags dies, Spellbinders Flourish Trim, tulle trim, cotton crochet lace, EK Success border punch, seam binding, WOC flowers, twine, rhinestone chain, rhinestones, Wink of Stella pen

This is my card, what do you think?

I absolutely love this scripture and will give this card to my oldest daughter

Naomi

who is getting promoted from Middle School to High School this Thursday. She is smart as smart can get, but always doubts herself. So this card will hopefully give her that extra encouragement that she needs to fall back on GOD when in doubt! I am absolutely sure that she will do just fine in this new school and excel just like she did when she first started middle school!  She has been in advanced math for three years and did 10th grade geometry in 8th grade this past year. She will be in all of the honors classes starting her new HS adventure and as a mom I could not be any prouder of my baby! See, I know how good God is. I was not supposed to have children according to my doctor, BUT GOD! He did not just bless me with one, but TWO beautiful girls! I know that God has bigger plans for my daughter and I pray that she will ALWAYS put God first, and all things will be possible!

Alright, let me stop right here before I need to pull out the tissues.

Thanks so very much for stopping by, it is always such a joy to see you visiting me.

Be blessed and have a fabulous day!

Hugs,

Welcome to our Daily Brad Designs May 2015 Release!

Happy May Day stamping friends and welcome to the Our Daily Bread Designs May 2015 release! I can hardly believe it is already May, only 3 more weeks and school is out. My youngest will be going to 5th grade and my oldest, well, she is off to high school!  Did I really just say that? WOW! Anyhow, you did not come here to talk about my girls, you are here to see some of the newly released and absolutely amazing stamps that are available today! I am here to share two of them with you all and they are both ever so encouraging to me. So for my first card I have used "Psalm 23 Script", an absolutely powerful scripture and the font used for this stamp is fabulous! I just love it!

That is it for my first card, but that is not all, I do have another one to share. For this one I have used the Lord's Prayer Script stamp, hot off the press. I don't know about you, but one of the first things we learned in Sunday school  was the "Lord's Prayer". So, with no further ado, here is my second card, pretty simple, for me, but to be honest, I wanted the focus to be this absolutely powerful prayer, so here it goes
